Born from a 3am laundry pile and lots of love

When a close family member of our founder brought her daughter home from the hospital, she quickly discovered that newborn laundry is its own full-time job. Onesies, swaddles, burp cloths, crib sheets — the pile never stopped growing. And every detergent she tried either irritated her baby's skin or left behind a fragrance that didn't belong anywhere near a newborn.
She needed help, but she couldn't find a laundry service that understood the difference between washing a toddler's sleeper and an adult's dress shirt! So they built one. Fold & Feather was founded on a single principle: baby garments deserve specialist care, not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Today, we exclusively serve infants, babies, and toddlers — and we wouldn't have it any other way. Every item that comes through our doors is treated with the same care we'd give our own children's clothes.
Fold & Feather started the way most good ideas do — out of necessity, exhaustion, and a deep desire to do right by a tiny human.
